The Hummingbird Whoop RaceSpec V2 is the next evolution of our dedicated racing whoop series, built for professional FPV racers who demand precision, durability, and peak performance. Designed as the successor to the Hummingbird V3.1 RaceSpec, this new version refines and optimizes every aspect of the drone for serious competition.
We’ve made significant updates to enhance stability, power handling, and durability without adding unnecessary weight, because every gram matters when you’re pushing the limits on the track.

Key Upgrades & Features:

Upgraded Flight Controller – Stable & Efficient Power

• The MCU is upgraded to AT32 F4 with a 216MHz clock speed (previously 288MHz). This intentional downgrade prioritizes stability and reliability, ensuring consistent performance in demanding race environments.
• Double N MOS ESC design (upgraded from N+P MOS) provides up to 18A per channel, delivering superior efficiency and power handling.
• No onboard USB port to reduce weight – instead, we’ve included a USB-C adapter for tuning when needed.

SmartMax VTX – Power & Compliance in One

• Adjustable VTX power up to 400mW with SmartMax thermal regulation, ensuring the board stays protected while delivering high power.
• Precise 25mW output, just like the previous version, keeping you within race-legal limits. No worries about exceeding VTX power limits in competitions.

Race-Optimized ExpressLRS Receiver

• Now featuring a UART-based ELRS receiver, allowing race mode activation, WiFi settings configuration, and seamless performance tuning.
• Uses a ceramic SMT antenna, which is not only lighter but also significantly more durable, perfect for intense racing conditions. 
• This ELRS Receiver is not official approve by ELRS team because the ESP8285 are no longer adapted by the new ELRS design guideline.

Enhanced Build for Durability & Simplicity

• Reverse plug-in protection added to prevent catastrophic failures due to incorrect power lead soldering—a common issue with non-standard BT2.0 power cable colors.
• Bigger solder pads for motors and no motor plugs, designed for RaceSpec professionals who prefer direct soldering for ultimate reliability.

Brand-New BeeEye V2 Camera – Lighter, Sharper, Better

• Featuring a 10x10mm footprint PCB, reducing weight while improving color accuracy and overall image performance—giving racers better visuals for precise control.

Optimized for Betaflight 4.5.1 RacePro
