Tiny Whoop GO Bag

The Tiny Whoop GO BAG is an ongoing project to create the perfect discreet and complete Tiny Whoop bag with as much community feedback as possible. This first limited edition batch of the GO BAG is meant to inspire feedback from the community, so please click here to share your ideas! 

After considering this project for almost a decade, me and a couple of team pilots decided to look seriously at what makes a bag better or worse for Tiny Whoop use.

We considered the list of essentials for a Tiny Whoop adventure, particularly for guerilla whoop pilots, who want to have lightning fast access to their gear, but also need the ability to quickly and stash their stuff, rather than look like the obvious drone pilot in the room. With these values in mind, we started buying existing bags and considering major form-factor changes that would help pilots.

Something about the shoulder bag feels so much more discreet and casual than a full backpack. After sampling tons of shoulder sling bags, it was obvious that major design changes would be necessary.

First and most importantly, we changed the way the bag is accessed.

Eliminating the need to take the bag off to get access to your gear is huge for serious Guerilla Whoop pilots - so we designed the bag around the idea that you need to get to your stuff without even taking the bag off. We moved zippers and changed storage dividers to give side access to 3 of the 4 storage areas to the pilot while they're still wearing the bag, just by swinging it around to your chest. If that's not your style, this design has not sacrificed any ease of access for those that like to take the bag off and spread out.

Quick access aircraft storage

With the zipper turned to face the pilot wearing the bag, the hard shell top is where I keep my primary ride. Its the last thing I whip out after my transmitter and goggles. I keep a small fleet of backup aircraft in the main compartment as well as one in deep storage.

Outer Zipper Pocket

Also redesigned to face the pilot, the zipper pocket is perfect place to keep HV charged packs and a quick battery checker.

The Main Compartment

We likewise redesigned the primary compartment, optimizing it for high customizability for your exact kit, as well as much faster access when wearing the bag. It's huge, and can easily fit your goggles, transmitter, fleet box, and lots of other gear. I can't express how awesome it is to have access to this compartment without even taking my bag off. The key to a great adventure really might can come down to the ability to get in and out quick.

Deep storage in the Top Section

Additionally we designed a compartmentalized and customizable deep storage area in the top of the bag, meant to be accessed when the bag is actually taken off. This area is perfect for tools, parts, a backup aircraft, or anything else you need to have with you that isn't immediately part of your flight. Like lots of this project, This section was designed and printed by CustomFPV, creater of all these products. 

Stay Dry

The Tiny Whoop GO BAG comes with easy-on rain cover that can instantly protect your gear from sudden weather. 

Lots of other pockets and features

Seriously there are tons of other pockets, stash spots, clips and straps.
