Releasing in February of 2026, the Champion frame is even lighter than the previous lightest frame, the NBD Lite AF frame. Designed specifically for a high-kv power-system, this frame takes the incredible list of innovations packed into the Air II frame but removes all unnecessary weight, dropping the frame all the way down to 2.1 grams. 
You may see elsewhere that some version of this frame are under 2.1g, but this is (likely unintentional) misinformation. Our team averaged large quantities of these frames on a calibrated scale to the tenth of a milligram,

By reducing the arm braces and more, it achieves an ultra-light weight of just 2.20g—17% lighter than the Air65 II—a perfect balance between resilience and weight savings.

Built from resilient materials that withstand hard crashes and violent maneuvers, the Air65 Champion Frame is engineered for durability. Its connecting arm design—through dozens of structural refinements—effectively reduce frame vibration. Paired with Feedforward tuning, this achieves a near-perfect PID step response with <12ms lag – translating to crisp maneuvers and buttery-smooth freestyle flow.

Beyond weight savings, thoughtful design simplifies both building and maintenance. Dented motor mounting slots streamline installation, and the included flat-headed M1.4*2mm screws reduce the risk of damage and maintain a clean profile. Enlarged 1.2mm FC holes allow 1.4mm screws to fit effortlessly. Combined with 12.4mm lowered ducts and a 3.8mm slim profile, the frame ensures ample clearance for short-can motors and optimizes propeller airflow for smooth, efficient performance.
